Responsibilities:
• Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams and internal and external stakeholders to: understand their needs, define business objectives, translate business requirements into data requirements, provide implementation guidelines, and support QA/UAT process to ensure analytics tracking is implemented correctly and holistically prior to product launches
• Perform data quality audits, identify and troubleshoot data collection issues, suggest improvements and implement fixes, as possible
• Understand tracking implementations across our properties using Adobe Launch tag management
• Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira
• Support overall strategy, design & structure for web measurement and tagging
• Manage analytics and media tags
• Development of tagging solutions - determine best approach to implement specific tags
• Implement and test custom tagging requirements
• Create tagging specification and tagging validation documents
• Establishing and maintaining the practices and procedures that support effective and efficient tag implementation
• Code tag deployment for new tags or updates
• Test and validate deployment is performing as expected prior to and after a release
• Deploy scheduled tagging production releases and support related QA smoke tests
• Proficient in debugging code using Fiddler, Charles or Chrome developer tools
• Be able to analyze web traffic, click-tracking data and assist with reporting requests
• Individual must be able to document technical requirements in a clear and concise manner
• Prioritizing the work of the team to assure business tagging needs are met
Qualifications and Skills:
• Excellent analytical, debugging and technical problem-solving skills
• Technical resource with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and SQL skills preferred
• Familiarity with Tag Management tools (Adobe DTM, Launch or other tag management platforms)
• Knowledge of Adobe Launch or DTM analytics development and tagging, Test and Target development and AAM audience curation and development
• Understanding of digital analytics, web analytics tagging and measurement techniques
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights
• Able to take direction and work collaboratively
• Naturally inquisitive, critical thinker, proactive problem-solver and detail-oriented
• Ability to manage and balance multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities in a fast-paced, complex business environment
• Can manage time effectively to consistently meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience:
• A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• 1-2 years' experience with Adobe Reports & implementation of Analytics (aka Adobe Site Catalyst) and tag management tools (Adobe Launch or Adobe DTM) is mandatory
• Experience in supporting and technical validation of digital analytics implementation solutions (namely Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target testing tool) across desktop, tablet and mobile platforms
• Experience in developing using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery and SQL
• Knowledge of s_code, context variables, processing rules, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch admin panels
• Experience with debugging tools
