Position: Java Engineer
Location: Lehi, UT
Job Type: Long Term Contract
MUST HAVE:
· Strong Java 8 development skills & experience
· Experience building applications with the Spring Framework & Spring Boot
· Experience building & using REST APIs
· Knowledge of Git/GitHub and related processes
· Knowledge of automated build/deployment tools such as Maven, Gradle and Jenkins
· Experience working in a geographically distributed team
· Knowledge of AWS technologies, including DynamoDB, S3, EC2
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:
· Experience with data streaming technologies (e.g. Apache Kafka)
· Experience working in an Agile Scrum team
· Knowledge of JIRA
· Excellent communication/presentation skills
· Ability to work independently with little direction, strong attention to detail
· Effective documentation and ability to share knowledge with the team
