Role: Application Support Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Responsibilities: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be a part of an Application Support and Maintenance team, consisting of different Metering head end systems and other Meter Data Management system. You will have to ensure the analyzing production issues, break fix to resume the production operation and perform the root cause analysis for permanent resolution. You will work closely with other internal and external groups and departments to support the vision of IT Metering technologies. You will have the opportunity to enhance department performance and productivity and / or unit performance by analyzing data and recommending improvements. You may be part of 24 X 7 call out rotational schedule.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (applicable engineering specific to area of assignment) from an accredited college or university or Professional Engineer designation
Plus Five (5) years working experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess working knowledge of Production Support, Maintenance and enhancements
Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in at least one of the following areas: Metering systems
Preference will be given to candidates with utility scale experience.
Experience with Oracle, Linux, .Net, Service-now and Metering knowledge, a plus.
Candidate must be forward thinking, self-driven, and able to handle ambiguity.
Candidate should be organized, able to communicate effectively, and willing to collaborate across multi-disciplinary groups.
