Role: Scrum Master/Project Manager
Location: San Jose CA
Job Type: Long Term Contract
Experience: 7-10 Years
MUST HAVE:
· 3-5 years of Project management experience using a formal methodology including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall
· At least 2-3 years of Scrum Master experience
· Expertise in Jira, SharePoint & Wiki, MS Office
· Act as a PM & Scrum Master for 1-3 Scrum teams working in multiple projects & perform effectively all the scrum ceremonies
· CSM Certified is a must
· Technical background preferred worked as Business Analyst/Engineer
· Provide business process and technical expertise to team and other members on various significantly complex programs/issues
· Comfortable working & producing reports for leadership level on day to day task activities
· Ability to see the big picture and grasp complex interconnections, self-drive, and “a bias for action”.
· Ability to communicate complex ideas, often at senior levels, to persuade to adopt a different point of view as needed
· Create project plans which includes scope, schedule, cost, quality, organization, communication, staffing, risk and issue management
· Facilitate, attend, scribe and distribute minutes for scrum/program meetings
· Drive project execution by monitoring project status, gathering customer responses and needs, monitoring project scope and watching for potential roadblocks
· Ensure cross-team coordination & work on removing barriers experienced by Team
· Reporting & communicate on day-to-day activities to required stakeholders
· Relationship-driven with ability to interact with a wide range of individuals
NICE TO HAVE:
· Knowledge in big data, data & analytics, Hadoop, SQL, BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Metrics Insight etc.), streaming technologies.
· Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles; works well under pressure
· Creative and proactive problem solver
· Self-motivated with ability to work well in teams and cross-departments
· Organized with strong attention to detail and effective documentation skills
