Position / Project Overview
Asset Management Technology is seeking a Java/Cloud Developer on the Data Services and Analytics Team. They provide data engineering and analysis for Compliance Risk & Board Operations for Asset Management. The Project they are working on is called Data Strategy Key Initiative and it is designed to build a data platform and support Asset Management's Data Strategy analytics and discovery needs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work as an Agile team member to provide solutions to business requirements.
- End-to-end development of cloud based applications.
- Participate in product demos at iteration reviews
- Log defects/issues and work with team members to ensure resolution
- Experience or excellent knowledge of web application development using JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, JQuery, Angular and NodeJ
- Experience or excellent knowledge of testing web applications and WebServices (REST API's)
- Experience or excellent knowledge of cloud computing environments and applications (AWS)
- Strong problem identification and solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must
- Experience or knowledge of SQL queries
