Understanding of big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka

Good experience with agile development processes like Scrum and Kanban
Insist on automating everything (e.g. tests, Continuous Integration, monitoring, alerting)
Experience in working with Unix/Linux environment

Role: BPM developer (Camunda)
Location – Columbus, Ohio
Hire Type: 15 Months Contract
The BPM lead Camunda developer contributes to enterprise architecture to ensure that common architecture decisions are implemented consistently across business and IT in order to support the business and IT strategy. The role will be responsible for hands on technical implementation and design of solution supporting the business functionality. Perform research, analyze, design, propose, and deliver IT architecture solutions that are appropriate for the business and IT strategies in one or more domains. The focus of this position is in working within the Business Process Management team. The use of Camunda is primary focus; however position will also focus on other BPM products and support the banks automation initiatives.
Primary responsibilities include:
Develops high-quality deliverables across all Camunda projects and provides consultative guidance on project assignments.
Responsible for the Design, Customization, and Implementation of robust, secure, scalable systems across n-tier platforms. The Architect will also help set the product direction and be responsible for evaluating and incorporating emerging standards and new technologies.
Integrate and maintain moderately complex to extremely complex applications throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Work with the lines of business, support staff, and technology areas, to design a technical structure based on the existing standards and processes and meets the strategic needs of the business and integrates with other business and IT Processes.
Support, resolve and document issues that arise in the architecture. This may include reviewing designs and recommending improvements to the architecture.
Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.
Translate complex business requirements into technical specification using Camunda.
Hands on development, coding and debugging is a must
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
Hands on experience in design and development using Camunda.
Extensive BPM knowledge and experience in conceptualizing workflow solution using Camunda
Experience in Java, J2EE Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Design, - Experience with Java technologies like Hibernate, Spring Framework.
Experience with jBPM (Process Automation Manager/Decision Manage) or Camunda.
Knowledge with migrating legacy jBPM processes and rules to the latest version.
Experience in working in SOA/Microservice Architecture using Camunda BPM
Good communication skills
Experience working with the following platforms: Windows, UNIX, Mainframe OR 4 years of multiple technology, platform, applications experience.
Advise leadership on technology architecture issues - Promote the development of technical infrastructure/architecture and standards to enable delivery to business domains.
Ensure compatibility of solutions across business units - Ability to negotiate and allocate resources appropriately for development and implementation - Identifies business operation IT practices to develop and implement projects aligned with business strategy
Experience with Agile software development life cycle.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Business Process Management
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Minimum 8 years' experience in Information Technology.
Experience in the Financial Services Industry is a plus.
Experience in BPM tools such as Pega, Bizagi, Appian, Active Matrix and other related tools is strongly preferred
