Performance Testing Lead
Client: Jackson National Life Insurance Co Inc
Work location: Lansing, MI
Duration: 6 Months+
Note: 'Gatling' is the performance testing software being utilized by the client which is an open source software like 'jMeter'. Candidates having experience with or knowledge of 'Gatling' will be ideal for this role. If we are not getting 'Gatling', we should target candidates with strong experience in 'jMeter'.
Performance testers with 'LoadRunner' experience only won't be workable here since it is a completely different tool.
Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)
· Manage the project independently and manage the team
· Deep expertise in Performance Testing and Engineering concepts 3.
· Worked on Non-functional Requirements Gathering, Workload Modeling, Profiling and Tuning.
· Strong expertise in Performance Test Tools like Gatling, Jmeter and APM Tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics
· Ability to analyze Performance Results, Server Logs, Dynatrace Metrics, Identify Bottlenecks and Provide Recommendations. Thread Dump, Heap Dump, JVM Parameter analysis
· Experience with SAR, vmstat, iostat, netstat, perfmon etc.
· Excellent Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Performance Testing Process
Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)
· 10+ years overall experience
· 5+ years of performance test lead experience ( Skill Set - Gatling, Jmeter and APM Tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics , SAR, vmstat, iostat, netstat, perfmon etc.)
· Good analytical and communication skills
