Must Have Skills:
1. Extensive experience in Informatica, Oracle and Linux.
2. Install, configure, and administer the Informatica platform for maximum utilization and through put. Managing the 247 PROD environment with High Availability and GRID setup. Perform Informatica Power Center 9.x System Administration including Team Based Development administration
3. Experience with setting up access roles and privileges, code page setups, appropriate ETL migration activities and scheduling jobs using Tidal
Nice to have skills:
1. Good experience with using Tableau.
2. Support production jobs with performance tuning and troubleshooting issues
Detailed Job Description:
- Extensive experience in Informatica, Oracle and Linux.
- Good experience with using Tableau.
- Install, configure, and administer the Informatica platform for maximum utilization and through put. Managing the 24/7 PROD environment with High Availability and GRID setup. Perform Informatica Power Center 9.x System Administration including Team Based Development administration
- Experience in migrating power center versions of 9.x to 10.x.
- Design, Develop and Test ETL Mappings, Mapplets, Workflows, Worklets using Informatica Powercenter, Performance tuning of Informatica ETL Jobs.
- Coordinate activities with data source application owners to ensure integration, data integrity and data quality.
- Application development / support / enhancements / bug-fixing.
- Interact with functional and technical representatives of project teams in order to understand business functionalities, technical modules, integration mechanism and data sources.
- Preparation of technical specifications, performance tuning, testing, and deployment.
- Experience with setting up access roles and privileges, code page setups, appropriate ETL migration activities and scheduling jobs using Tidal
- Liaise with Systems Administrators, UNIX, Network and DBAs, scheduling and implementing software patches and upgrades
- Experience in automation of monitoring Informatica environments using UNIX, pmrep, pmcmd and other Informatica command line language
- Support production jobs with performance tuning and troubleshooting issues
- Identify, recommend and implement ETL process and architecture improvements.
- Conduct impact assessment and determine size of effort based on requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. To coordinate closely with the functional and business users of Applications to understand Business Intelligence and ETL requirements. To get technically involved in the Design and Development of Informatica, Oracle and Unix.
2. Design, Develop and Test ETL Mappings, Mapplets, Workflows, Worklets using Informatica Powercenter, Performance tuning of Informatica ETL Jobs.
